Fans first purchased Phoenix Coyotes tickets for their first game ever on October 5, 1996. The Coyotes were an expansion team in that year, which was the same year that the Winnipeg Jets left the league. Fans that bought Coyotes tickets in that first season were not disappointed, as the team advanced to the NHL postseason in their first year behind the play of team captain Keith Tkachuk, who thrilled holders of Coyotes hockey tickets with his fifty-two goals in the season.

In the next six seasons, the Coyotes would continue to bring in crowds of fans with Coyotes tickets, as the team continued on with their winning ways. Through 2004, the team had qualified for the playoffs in every year, with the exception of 2001, when fans with Coyotes hockey tickets were disappointed as the team just missed the playoffs, despite their winning record.

In this time of great success for the team, those that purchased Coyotes tickets saw great personal accomplishments, as head coach Bobby Francis won the Jack Adams Award in 2002 and goaltender Brian Boucher established an NHL record by not allowing a goal in 332 minutes and 1 second of game time in 2003.

In 2003, fans with Coyotes tickets were extremely happy that the team was moving into their new stadium, Glendale Arena. From 1996 until 2003, holders of Coyotes hockey tickets watched games at the American West Arena, which was not initially designed to hold hockey games, making games uncomfortable for fans with Coyotes tickets. However, with the move to Glendale Arena, located in the suburbs of Phoenix, up to 17,653 fans with Phoenix Coyotes tickets were able to enjoy the game in the greatest possible comfort.

It's never too early to purchase Coyotes tickets for the 2007 season. Buy Coyotes tickets today from MTC Tickets.
