It is fitting that one of the most historic teams in the NHL today resides in one of the most historic cities in the world. In 1926, the city of New York and its famous Madison Square Garden were granted their first hockey franchise, and fans that purchased New York Rangers tickets could not have been happier. It did not take long for the team to make its presence known in the league, as within a few years, fans with Rangers tickets and everyone else in the league were talking about the “classiest team in hockey.” The teams hard work and dedication to the game that fans with Rangers tickets appreciated so much quickly generated team success. In only the teams second season in the league, holders of Rangers hockey tickets watched as the Rangers won their first Stanley Cup. The Rangers have gone on to win three more Stanley Cup Championships in their history, but none more thrilling than the one that fans that purchased Rangers tickets in 1994 saw. This Cup Title ended 54 year drought of Stanley Cup Titles, and it also rejuvenated the spirit of fans with Rangers hockey tickets throughout the great city of New York as it was won at the Rangers home arena, Madison Square Garden. Madison Square Garden has actually been located at two different places in New York City since it became the home of fans with Rangers tickets in 1926. From the first game in that year until 1968, the Garden was located on 50th Street. From 1968 on, the Rangers have played at the new arena, Madison Square Garden IV, which holders of New York Rangers tickets can find on 33rd Street. Known by many as ”the worlds most famous arena,” the Garden provides all sorts of entertainment, ranging from music concerts to boxing matches to live theatre. However, for the 18,200 fans with Rangers tickets that show up for every Rangers home game, the Garden is simply the arena where they go to cheer their Rangers on to victory. Currently attempting to lead the team to victory is head coach Tom Renney. Renney is no stranger to holders of New York Rangers tickets, as he has been with the organization since 2000, serving as the Vice President of Player Production and the assistant coach of the team before becoming the head coach for the last half of the 2003-04 season. Last year, the Rangers experienced some success finishing at 44-26-12 for the 2005-2006 regular season just clinching a playoff spot. Due to this success and some recent acquisitions during the offseason, New York fans have been filled with new hope and Rangers ticket sales prove it. These tickets are selling fast and it's never too early to purchase Rangers tickets for the 2007 season. So buy Rangers tickets today from MTC Tickets, your customer first broker.
