One of the most recent expansion teams to come into the NHL, the Minnesota Wild and their fans with Wild hockey tickets have experienced a type of success that is usually uncommon for expansion teams. The lone playoff appearance in franchise history is misleading, as holders of Wild tickets have seen their team be competitive within the league in every season since 2000. Fans with Minnesota Wild tickets have never had the opportunity to see their team play in the Stanley Cup finals. However, in 2003, holders of Wild tickets watched their team not only make the playoffs, but also advance into the second round. Although the team did lose in the conference finals, preventing the availability of Wild hockey tickets for the Stanley Cup Finals, their appearance in the playoffs asserted them as one of the most competitive and hungry young teams in the league. It is the job of head coach Jacques Lemaire to direct that competitive spirit of the team, which will, fans with Wild tickets hope, result in more playoff appearances and wins for the Minnesota Wild. The only head coach that the holders of Wild hockey tickets have known, Lemaire began coaching when the franchise began in 2000. Fans with Wild tickets believe that Lemaire can help the team reach the Stanley Cup as he has had plenty of experience in doing so. Jacques Lemaire won ten Stanley Cup Titles as the senior consultant to the general manager of the Montreal Canadiens in the past. With the Wild, he received the Jack Adams trophy, which is hockeys Coach of the Year Award, in 2003. For all of the Wilds home games, fans with Minnesota Wild tickets flock to the Xcel Energy Center, located in the heart of St. Paul, Minnesota. The first thing that most holders of Wild tickets notice in the Xcel Energy Center is the tribute to Wild fans everywhere. The Wild Organization has retired the number one in recognition of the fans who support the franchise by purchasing Wild tickets. It's never too early to purchase Wild tickets for the 2007 season.
