Rams football tickets first sold for the 1936 season. The 1936 team selling Rams tickets belonged to the American Football league. In 1937 the NFL granted Cleveland a franchise and the Cleveland Rams of the NFL were born. Faced with losses, the team moved, selling Rams football tickets in Los Angeles for the 1946 season. In Los Angeles fans with Rams tickets watched their team take three consecutive Western Division championships from 1949 to 1951 and win the NFL Championship in 1951. As has happened with other professional league teams in Los Angeles, purchases of Rams football tickets dwindled over time and in 1995 Missouri fans purchased St. Louis Rams tickets when the team relocated to St. Louis. Having suffered an eight year hiatus from major league football, St. Louis fans couldn't wait to purchase Rams football tickets. 20,000 more Rams tickets sold in St. Louis in 1995 than had sold in Los Angeles in 1994 despite Los Angeles larger population. The Rams favored purchasers of Rams football tickets with three trips to the Super Bowl, 1980, 2000 and 2002, winning the last two. St. Louis also greeted its new team with a new stadium, the Edward Jones Dome, completed in November 1995 and offering 66,000 seats to fans with St. Louis Rams tickets. Considered one of the most unique NFL stadiums, the Edwards Jones Dome offers many comforts to both players and fans holding Rams football tickets. Fans with Ram tickets enter from one of four entry points, each having a glass atrium and escalators. Fans purchasing St. Louis Rams tickets for home games in 2005 should see the new Fieldturf (artificial turf but looks and reacts like grass) and the new High Definition video/scoreboards. If you plan attending a Rams game, purchase your Rams tickets early because St. Louis fans gobble them up fast! St. Louis has some of the most dedicated fans in the nation and they prove it by purchasing Rams football tickets despite a poor 2005 season.
