Sales of the first 49ers football tickets occurred in 1946. Under the All-America Football Conference the 49ers won the championship in 1949. Joining the NFL in 1950, fans purchasing San Francisco 49ers tickets were disappointed to see their team miss the 1951 Western Conference title by a mere ½ game.

The team came into its dominant roll in the 1980s and 1990s as fans flocked to purchase 49ers tickets. 1979 brought Coach Bill Walsh and then rookie quarterback Joe Montana whom fans with 49ers football tickets soon came to adore. During the 1980s and 1990s fans with San Francisco 49ers tickets witnessed the team win five Super Bowl championships in 1982, 1985, 1989, 1990 and 1995. One of the most notable plays talked about to this day by holders of 49ers football tickets and later termed “The Catch”, was a pass by Montana to Dwight Clark that provided the 49ers the NFC championship and their first entrance to the Super Bowl. Jerry Rice wowed fans with 49ers tickets and helped lead the team to the 1985 Super Bowl with his prolific pass receiving.  The 1989 Super Bowl proved to be a heart throbbing game as fans with San Francisco 49ers tickets watched the team pull out a last minute win against Cincinnati.

Playing home games a Monster Park, 49ers invite fans purchasing 49ers football tickets to join them in their new stadium which opened in 2004. The stadium offers over 70,000 seats to fans with 49ers tickets.  Most games sell out of San Francisco 49ers tickets, so if you want to attend a game, be sure to purchase your 49ers tickets early.
