With a name that means an “energetic individual who travels ahead of the human procession,” it is no wonder why the Oklahoma Sooners and their fans with Oklahoma football tickets have experienced such success since the new millennium. The team has had remarkable seasons in 2003 and 2004, going undefeated and qualifying for the national championship game in both years. However, fans with Oklahoma Sooners football tickets have been disappointed that their team has been unable to make the extra push and come away from either game with a national championship victory. They hope that head coach Bob Stoops will be able to lead the team and all of the fans that support the Sooners by purchasing Oklahoma football tickets to a national championship title. Fans that purchase Oklahoma tickets and attend the games find themselves wrapped up in years of history and tradition. After every Sooner score, fans with Oklahoma football tickets see the Sooner Schooner, a covered wagon pulled by white horse, take a victory ride around the stadium. Also, fans with Oklahoma Sooners football tickets are encouraged by the Pride of Oklahoma Marching Band to sing along with such songs as “Boomer Sooner” at every game. Since 1923, fans with Oklahoma football tickets have gone to Oklahoma Memorial Stadium to cheer their Sooners to victory. While the stadium officially holds a capacity of 82,112 fans with Oklahoma tickets, there have been several occasions when that capacity has been exceeded. The most prominent of these occasions was on November 13, 2004 when the Sooners took on and defeated the Nebraska Cornhuskers in front of 84,916 fans with Oklahoma football tickets. Also, holders of Oklahoma Sooners football tickets have a good chance of seeing a win at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, as the team enjoys a historic winning percentage near 80%.
