Since 1950, the stadium has undergone a number of renovations in an attempt to make the game day experience even more enjoyable for fans with Maryland football tickets. Renovations during the 1990s added new restrooms and bleachers, while expanding the capacity so that it can hold up to 51,500 fans with Maryland Terrapins football tickets. Most fans with Maryland tickets appreciate the beauty of the stadium, as it used the same type of brick found in more than 300 Maryland buildings. Fans with Maryland football tickets have seen their team experience success both in Byrd Stadium and outside of it. The team has accepted more than twenty bowl game bids. Holders of Maryland Terrapins football tickets have seen nine Atlantic Coast Conference titles since joining the conference in 1953. In 1953, coincidently, fans with Maryland football tickets experienced the thrill of a national championship season for the first time. Now, trying to lead the team and fans with Maryland tickets back to that feeling is head coach Ralph Friedgen. The coach of the Terrapins since 2001, Freidgen has quickly won over all of the fans with Maryland Terrapins football tickets with his impressive success. Named Coach of the Year in his inaugural season, Friedgen has tallied thirty-six wins in his first four years, ranking him in the top ten coaches in NCAA history. In 2003, he became the first coach in ACC history to lead a team to three straight seasons of ten wins or more. With Friedgen at the helm, Maryland tickets are sure to sell out quickly due to his incredible success. View Maryland Terrapins Game Schedule:
