Although Louisiana State football tickets were probably not sold, the Tigers played their first game in 1893. Since then, the Tigers and their fans with Louisiana State football tickets have enjoyed success with seven conference titles and two national titles, with the most recent national title coming in front of fans with Louisiana State tickets in the 2004 Nokia Sugar Bowl. Following the 2002 season, the Tigers remained unranked as disheartened fans with Louisiana State Tigers football tickets watched their team lose to the Texas Longhorns in the Cotton Bowl. In the 2003 preseason, the Tigers were ranked only fifteenth in the nation, but fans with Louisiana State football tickets knew that this team was special. Led by head coach Nick Saban, the Tigers would charge through the season losing only once and finally defeating Oklahoma in front of thousands of fans with Louisiana State Tigers football tickets for the national championship. The Tigers and all of the fans with Louisiana State football tickets now look to the 32nd head coach in LSU history, Les Miles. The former coach of the Oklahoma State Cowboys who led that team to three straight bowl appearances hopes that he can bring the glory of a national title back to the fans with Louisiana State tickets. Along the way, the Tigers will play their games in front of fans with Louisiana State football tickets at Tiger Stadium, which has also come to be known as Death Valley. Despite the capacity of the stadium to hold up to 91,600 fans with Louisiana State football tickets, the Louisiana State tickets themselves are quite difficult to get. This is because of the high rate of attendance and purchase of Louisiana State Tigers football tickets. From 2002 through 2004, Tiger Stadium has consistently ranked among the top five schools in the nation in attendance, averaging just fewer than 91,000 fans with Louisiana State football tickets per game.
