For more than one hundred years, the Wisconsin Badgers have been entertaining fans with Wisconsin basketball tickets. Since 2001, however, these fans with Wisconsin Badgers basketball tickets have watched their team experience their greatest success since their championship season in 1941. Much of this success, as holders of Wisconsin tickets know well, is due to the arrival of Bo Ryan in 2001. A seasoned veteran of NCAA basketball, Bo Ryan is ranked number one in winning percentage among all active coaches with at least twenty years of head coaching experience. Ryan has led their Badgers and all of the fans with Wisconsin basketball tickets to the NCAA Tournament every year in his first four seasons, the most of any coach in University of Wisconsin history. Also, Ryan led the team to a school record 25 wins in the 2003-04 season, and did not disappoint holders of Wisconsin Badgers basketball tickets in the following season, as he posted 25 wins again. Well before the days of Bo Ryan, the Wisconsin Badgers played their first ever game in 1898, fifty years after the school was founded. It was not until 1941 that holders of Wisconsin tickets were able to experience the thrill of an NCAA Championship. That season, however, continues to be the only season in which the team emerged successful from the NCAA Tournament. The team continues to improve though, as holders of Wisconsin basketball tickets have seen their Badgers take strides at getting back to the title game, as they won their first ever Big Ten Tournament Title in 2004. Since 1998, holders of Wisconsin Badgers basketball tickets have joined together at the Kohl Center to cheer their team to victory. The home of Badgers men’s basketball also serves as the home of other University of Wisconsin athletic teams, including the women’s basketball team and the hockey team. The main attraction remains men’s basketball, however, as for every home game, more than 17,000 holders of Wisconsin basketball tickets arrive at the Kohl Center, hoping to see a Badgers victory.
