In 2000, Wooden received one of the greatest honors in college basketball, as he was named the Naismith Men’s College Coach of the 20th Century. The national title banners, as well retired jerseys of past players, still hang today in the Pauley Pavilion so that holders of UCLA Bruins basketball tickets can relive those moments forever.
