Texas Longhorns Basketball Tickets

Ever since University of Texas Longhorns basketball began in 1905, holders of Texas tickets have recognized the school as one full of tradition and success. Many of the traditions that are carried out at every Longhorns game by holders of Texas basketball tickets date back more than fifty years.

One of the most dominant and recognizable symbols in all of college sports is the “Hook ‘em Horns,” a hand gesture done by all holders of Texas Longhorns basketball tickets throughout the game to show their support. In 1966, the team mascot, Bevo, a live longhorn bull, was introduced to holders of Texas tickets and has been a staple of Longhorn athletics ever since. In every year that he has coached the team, Rick Barnes has led the Texas Longhorns, along with all of their fans with Texas Longhorns basketball tickets, to the NCAA Tournament, including three consecutive Sweet 16 appearances from 2002 to 2004. In the 2003 season, holders of Texas basketball tickets watched Barnes lead the team all the way to the Final Four.

On their way to the NCAA tournament each season, the Texas Longhorns play their regular season home games in front of their fans with Texas tickets at the Frank Erwin Center. Built in 1977, the center underwent a huge renovation process, which was completed in 2001, so that holders of Texas Longhorns basketball tickets can better enjoy their experience.
