The Sacramento Kings of today came into professional basketball in 1945 as the Rochester Royals. After a stay in Kansas City, the Kings moved to Sacramento in 1985 where they have a permanent home with a permanent fan base that can quickly make Kings tickets scarce. The Kings found success hard to come by in Sacramento as the team did not make a single playoff appearance in its first nine seasons in its new hometown. However, fan support remained high as fans bought all Kings basketball tickets available, and the Kings sold out ever game in the 1990-1991 season despite the team's meager 25-57 record. It was not until the 1995-1996 season that fans were able to purchase Sacramento Kings playoff tickets, as the team clenched its first playoff birth since arriving in Sacramento. Once the Kings got a taste of the playoffs, they regularly returned for more. Beginning in 1999, Sacramento fans that purchased Kings tickets enjoyed six consecutive years of playoff appearances. During this streak, holders of tickets witnessed the first victorious Kings playoff series for the first time since the team came to Sacramento. Much of this success comes from head coach Rick Adelman. To the delight of fans who bought Kings basketball tickets, Adelman was brought to the organization in 1998 to be the 19th coach in franchise history. Under the guidance of Coach Adelman, the team and fans who buy Kings tickets have enjoyed the six year streak of playoff appearances. Also, it is no surprise that the sale of Sacramento Kings tickets has been high since Adelman has taken over, as the Kings have led the NBA in scoring in every season that Adelman has coached. It's never too early to purchase Kings tickets for the 2007 season. Buy Kings tickets today from MTC Tickets. View Sacramento Kings Game Schedule: |
