With a history that began in 1946, fans with Warriors basketball tickets have seen it all. The franchise arrived in its current home of Oakland and became the Golden State Warriors in 1971 after spending time in both Philadelphia and San Francisco. Throughout franchise history, holders of Warriors tickets have seen over twenty-five playoff appearances, including one that led to an NBA Championship in 1975.

Fans with Warriors tickets also had the privilege of watching one of the most dominating players to ever pick up a basketball in Wilt Chamberlain. Chamberlain amazed fans with Warriors tickets on a nightly basis, culminating in an unbelievable 100 point performance in a single game in 1962. Additionally, those who purchased Warriors basketball tickets during the 1959-1960 season witnessed Chamberlain become the first player ever to win both the Rookie of the Year award and the NBA Most Valuable Player Award in the same season.

Now, fans with Golden State Warriors tickets can view Chamberlain's retired jersey, along with the retired jerseys of fellow Hall of Fame players Tom Gola and Jerry Lucas, in the Warriors current home, The Arena in Oakland. Originally opened in 1966, the Arena underwent serious renovations in 1996, adding over 4,000 seats. Now the arena holds a capacity of approximately 19,200 fans with Golden State Warriors tickets. This includes, for those fans who wish to purchase such Warriors tickets, 72 luxury suites.

In more recent years, fans with Golden State Warriors tickets have come to The Arena in Oakland to watch exciting young players like Baron Davis and Jason Richardson. Richardson, a fan-favorite, became only the second player in NBA history to win the Slam Dunk Contest in two consecutive years, which he achieved in 2002 and 2003. The only other player to accomplish this feat was Michael Jordan.

The Warriors are looking to steal a title this year. Buy Warriors tickets today from MTC Tickets, for your chance to see playoff history..
