![]() New on the music circuit at the end of the year 2000, Coldplay tickets found their way into the hands of British audiences in 2000. By 2001 Americans also purchased Coldplay concert tickets for 10 sold out concerts in the US. Release of their debut album, Parachutes, started the demand for Coldplay tickets. Four young British men who started playing music together in college hit the big time with an album that stayed in the Top Ten for several months. Suddenly they were playing before thrilled audiences holding Coldplay concert tickets. The band admits their rise was lightening fast, but not without a lot of work and a lot of talent. Many fans with Coldplay tickets know these young men all started their individual music careers as young teens. In 1998 the group received an invitation to play at a festival in Manchester, England, released a single shortly after, and then was signed to a label in 1999. Parachutes released in the UK, followed a month later with the release of Nettwerk in the US. Instantly there was a demand for Coldplay concert tickets. Unfortunately, due to illness of a band member, U.S. holders of Coldplay tickets were disappointed as some concerts were cancelled. The European tour also found disappointed fans as Coldplay concert tickets didn’t materialize due to cancellation of that tour too. A 2003 tour proved successful as delighted holders of Coldplay tickets heard songs on the newly release album A Rush of Blood to the Head. Coldplay’s fears that the album might not measure up to the super success of the first album were unfounded as purchasers of Coldplay concert tickets gobbled up even more copies of the second album. With the pending release of X&Y in June 2005, Coldplay plans to again offer Coldplay tickets. Even though the group is fairly new, anticipated sales of Coldplay concert tickets indicate that if you want to see the group’ live performance, you’d better buy your Coldplay tickets early.
